Together, we are building a stimulating, inclusive environment where young players can push their boundaries and gain lasting experiences.
We look forward to witnessing the joy, talent, and determination of the young participants as they shine on the field. The NOVIO TALENT CUP aims to bring together young talents worldwide to showcase their skills, foster sportsmanship, and create lasting memories. This event promises to provide an excellent platform for emerging players to compete against their peers on an international stage.
This event will offer competitive football matches and an opportunity for coaches and players to interact, learn, and grow. We want to organize a high-quality tournament with teams from around the world. There will be 16 teams divided into 4 groups, each led by a team as skilled as those in the Champions League.

City of Nijmegen

The oldest city in the Netherlands

City of Nijmegen

Nijmegen is the oldest city in the Netherlands. Right at the start of our era, Nijmegen was founded by the Romans as an important base because of its strategic location. Around 100 AD the Romans had put an entire city called Ulpia Noviomagus Batavorum on the map and Nijmegen was granted city and market rights by Emperor Trajan.

Nijmegen celebrated its 2000th year of existence in 2005. It is considered the oldest city in the Netherlands. In gaining this qualification, it has competed with the city of Maastricht.

The city of Nijmegen is exciting and interesting and has a turbulent history. You can find evidence of past times everywhere, in old buildings and the city’s architecture.

N.E.C Nijmegen
N.E.C. was founded by laborers in 1900. The Goffert Stadium has existed since the late thirties, after establishing the whole park as an employment project of the Municipality of Nijmegen and the Ministry of Social Affairs. In 2000, the current stadium was built inside the old stadium. As a consequence, the number of seats is around N.E.C. 12,500.
